Frontgrid, an expert in adventure leisure and virtual reality attractions and the creator of ParadropVR, has revealed how its technology has been used at Butlin’s new PLAYXPERIENCE VR activity centre at the brand’s Bognor Regis resort.
The ParadropVR POD is at the heart of the new indoor attraction. Spanning almost 50,000 square feet, PLAYXPERIENCE features nine cutting-edge immersive and VR experiences, with thrilling activities and competitive interactive games.
The ParadropVR POD is set to provide Butlin’s guests with an extraordinary multi-sensory flying experience. Frontgrid’s immersive, virtual reality unattended attraction uses advanced headsets to provide an extraordinary experience with low operational costs and efficient transactions for visitors.
Matt Wells, CEO of Frontgrid, says: “Butlin’s new project really provides Frontgrid, and ParadropVR the perfect opportunity to showcase our innovative capabilities and provide visitors of the venue with a truly unique experience… it provides a great investment opportunity down south with high exposure to new traffic to really show off the maximum potential of our unattended hardware.”
Frontgrid’s unattended solution recently launched at destination resort Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. It is now operating in 15 locations worldwide from Belgium to the US. The firm is looking to further expand its reach in 2025.
