Prague Planetarium, located in the heart of the Czech Republic, is one of the largest and most respected planetariums in the world. Since its opening in 1960, it has welcomed more than 250,000 visitors annually and served as a foundational institution for astronomy education and scientific exploration. Before its recent renovation project, the planetarium’s projection system began to age and started to reach the end of its lifespan - right as the world’s expectations for immersion were beginning to increase. The institution needed a solution that could not only meet the demands for quality and innovation but also stand out as a leader in what modern planetariums could be. After a year-long selection process, Prague Planetarium selected Cosm as its official technology partner to power the reimagined planetarium. Cosm’s CX System LED dome solution offered a transformation leap forward, providing the creative and operational flexibility needed for this project.
