The 2026 International Zoo Educators (IZE 2026) Conference will take place from 12 -16 October 2026 at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, South Africa. This global gathering brings together zoo and aquarium educators and communicators to exchange ideas, explore best practice, and advance the impact of education in conservation.
The theme for the 2026 event is “One Planet, Many Voices: Educating for Biodiversity and Connection.” Through keynote presentations, interactive workshops and networking sessions, the conference will explore how education nurtures empathy, inspires action, and supports resilient futures for people and the planet.
