Jeffrey Wyatt

Chief Experience Officer

Space Center Houston

As chief experience officer at Space Center Houston, Jeffrey Wyatt has significantly enhanced the guest experience at the Official Visitors Center of NASA Johnson Space Center. His enthusiasm for innovation, storytelling, and curiosity drives every part of the guest experience, helping to connect people and space more closely.

Wyatt has over 25 years of experience creating exhibits for museums and cultural institutions.

His leadership led to groundbreaking displays at Space Center Houston, such as Mission: Sketch, presented by UTMB Health, and The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks, showcasing his ability to blend science, technology, education, and imagination into unique experiences.

In collaboration with Draw & Code, Mission: Sketch allows guests to customise their spacecraft, have a hero's moment with a rocket launch, and share awe while watching missions pass the Moon, Mars, Europa, or Titan. It blends scientific curiosity with hands-on learning and creative play by exploring space and enriching life on Earth.

The Moonwalkers premiered at Space Center Houston after Wyatt’s successful negotiations with Lightroom, following the original London production.

Narrated by Tom Hanks and co-written with Chris Riley, it recounts Apollo missions. Screened in Houston’s renovated IMAX theatre, it offers exclusive insights into NASA’s Artemis II lunar exploration, featuring high-definition imagery displayed on three walls and the floor, accompanied by music by Anne Nikitin.

Before Space Center Houston, Wyatt was VP of planning and development, experiences at the National Geographic Society’s Museum of Exploration. He managed creative design and project, and technical aspects for a new Washington, D.C. museum.

At GES Entertainment, he led business development and produced experiences like Harry Potter: The Exhibition worldwide. At AEG Live, he managed the design and construction of the Tutankhamun: The Golden King and Great Pharaohs exhibition, featuring over 150 artefacts from Egypt.

He supervised its production and installation in nine cities, leading a team of 30+ technicians, artists, and designers, resulting in a blockbuster.
