Flying Sharks was established in 2006, and since then, Correia has built a company that combines science, logistics and storytelling. From pioneering low-stress animal transport methods to developing cutting-edge underwater acrylic polishing through TechAquarium, his work is known for its quality, reliability and creativity.

As the founder and leader of Flying Sharks, Correia has revolutionised the way marine animals are transported, cared for, and celebrated across the global aquarium community. A passionate advocate for marine conservation, Correia also speaks at international conferences and mentors young professionals.
