Jon Tozer, VP of global strategy at Holovis, a leading experience designer, has been influential within the theme park industry due to his wealth of knowledge and experience.

Tozer led the Holovis team in the redesign and launch of Squid Game: The Experience for Netflix, which opened in New York in 2025. The redesign included a comprehensive technical refresh, as well as the addition of new games to enhance the overall experience.

"Without Jon, the Squid Game Experience in New York would not have been anywhere near as successful as it was, or as great an experience," says one nominator.

His dedication to the immersive segment spans years. He has a lifelong passion for the industry and has worked with clients like Universal Studios, Disney, and currently Netflix.

As a chartered engineer by trade, he has worked at all levels within the company, starting in the engineering department and eventually leading the delivery of key projects for attractions worldwide.

He is now responsible for continuously improving the delivery of Holovis systems and projects, not only to ensure that clients and the team are consistently happier but also to guarantee that guests enjoy the best experience at the intersection of technology and storytelling.

Tozer is passionate about recognising and mentoring young talent in the industry and advocating for careers in themed entertainment in areas where aspiring individuals might not have considered it possible. He also diligently ensures that the industry is represented in governing bodies such as the Institute of Engineering & Technology and other relevant organisations within the AV sector.
