Luxury hotel chain Jumeirah has launched a new sustainability destination called Jumeirah Eco Village at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
Jumeirah Eco Village is a dedicated place to display Jumeirah's initiatives in environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, food security, and responsible production.
During the multi-sensory experience, guests can explore a beehive offering insights into the role of pollinators in maintaining biodiversity.

Guests can also visit a hydroponic farm that showcases how sustainable food systems can be integrated into hospitality environments.
Additionally, Jumeirah Eco Village highlights the brand's marine conservation work, including exhibits on its turtle rescue and rehabilitation initiative, and its coral restoration programme.
Also, guests can learn about Jumeirah’s wider commitments to waste reduction, circularity, responsible sourcing, and decarbonisation.
The experience ends with a plastic-repurposing workshop, with guests invited to transform existing plastic waste into new, functional products.
Madinat Jumeirah's new eco experience
Thomas B. Meier, CEO of Jumeirah, said: "Jumeirah Eco Village is an immersive platform that showcases the work we are doing to advance our sustainability agenda.
"It reflects our ambition to drive meaningful, measurable impact across our people, planet, and governance pillars as outlined in our broader sustainability strategy, while providing a space to demonstrate, engage, and educate.
"Through this experience, we aim to inspire guests, colleagues, and the wider community to adopt more sustainable practices in their daily lives."

Designed as a long-term initiative, Jumeirah Eco Village will continue to evolve in line with the company's sustainability strategy.
It will serve as a foundation for future community engagement programmes, educational partnerships and conservation collaborations.
