kubik maltbie, a leading producer of exceptional exhibits and experiences for museums, science centres, and immersive spaces, is looking forward to the opening of a slate of AV integration projects this year, marking the expansion of its in-house AV Integration Team.

Since taking the first steps to create the team in 2019, the service has steadily grown and has now delivered more than two dozen projects.

This year alone, it is set to complete AV integration for the Motown Museum, the National Urban League’s Urban Civil Rights Museum, and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. All are set to open in 2026.

Award-winning projects

By forming an AV Integration Team, kubik maltbie sought to create a resource for its busy exhibit fabrication business, foster deeper partnerships on interactive exhibits and create efficiencies for its clients, design partners, and media producers.

This new team immediately began work, providing AV design support and integration services for The Power of Science exhibit at the Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science.

This early momentum continued, with projects for the National Museum for African American History and Culture, MIT Museum, and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.

With this ongoing flow of work, kubik maltbie’s AV Team was able to expand and work on AV integration for bigger projects, including the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science, and Folger Shakespeare Library.

Steady growth enabled the team to add services, including AV design, which assists clients and design partners earlier in the process.

For example, the team provided AV design services for the Library of Congress and the Motown Museum as integration services continued to grow.

Other successful integration projects included Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, Missouri History Museum’s World’s Fair exhibition, and Hoover Dam Visitor Center.

Recently, kubik maltbie collaborated with Studio Joseph and Click Netherfield in the delivery of the gallery design for the reimagined Princeton University Art Museum.
