Donna Lawrence founded Donna Lawrence Productions, an award-winning production company that creates multi-screen, 4D, and 360-degree installations, documentary films, theatrical experiences, sound and light shows, and other unique media attractions. The company includes exhibit designers, content experts, architects, fabricators, systems engineers, and dedicated strategic specialists.

“The results of our efforts – often the headline attractions for their facilities – engage, move, entertain, and inform thousands of people every day in theaters, museums, theme parks, and visitor centers throughout the US and beyond,” says Donna Lawrence Productions.

The company has received top awards in almost every festival devoted to special format or documentary productions. These include the Sundance Film Festival, the New York Festivals, Cine Golden Eagle Awards, THEA Awards, the International Documentary Association, and AAM’s Muse Awards.

“As the founder of Donna Lawrence Productions, Donna’s footprint is not just expansive but profoundly impactful. For over three decades, I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with her and bear witness to her exceptional artistry and unwavering dedication,” said one person who nominated Lawrence.

“Beyond her accolades and awards lies an artist with an innate ability to breathe life into narratives. Donna’s work transcends the conventional confines of museum films. She was a pioneer in taking films off the walls and plunging viewers into immersive journeys, a perfect blend of theater, immersion, live-action, and interactivity.”

Donna Lawrence Productions’ portfolio of work includes the King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh travelling exhibit, a state-of-the-art theater experience at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, and an introductory experience at the New-York Historical Society. The company has also worked with the Statue of Liberty Museum, the Witte Museum in San Antonio, and the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
