Matthew McNerney is chief creative officer at Luci Creative, a full-service museum design studio that creates dynamic experiences for civic, cultural, and corporate organisations. He oversees the creative vision and strategy and leads the team to produce innovative museum and exhibition designs. He is also involved in market expansion and business development.

McNerny oversees all projects that come through Luci Creative, having a heavy hand in the development of projects with the Adams Presidential Center, California Science Center, Holocaust Museum for Hope & Humanity, Holocaust Museum Boston, Italian American Museum, Cape Fear Museum, and Maine Museum of Innovation, Learning and Labor.

He joined Luci Creative in 2024, bringing over two decades of experience in creative leadership within the experience design industry. His portfolio includes work with high-profile institutions such as the William J. Clinton Presidential Library, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Tenement Museum in New York.
