The City of Vaughan in Ontario has issued an RFP for a feasibility study for a Cultural Arts Centre to be located in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.
The study would be carried out in two phases. It would encompass market, operational, financial, economic and social impact analyses of a multi-use facility. The centre could include spaces for a performance theatre, exhibition space, administrative offices, classrooms/studios/rehearsal spaces, public spaces and green spaces.The intention is to create a hub that promotes collaboration among cultural entities and efficient use of existing and new resources in the local community.
