Ned Diestelkamp

Vice President

PGAV Destinations

Ned Diestelkamp is vice president of PGAV, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations.

When PGAV Destinations launched its Orlando studio in 2022, choosing the right leader was crucial. CEO Mike Konzen needed someone with extensive industry expertise, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to forge relationships swiftly.

Diestelkamp was the obvious pick. With nearly four decades of experience managing complex, rapidly executed projects, he was ideally suited to lead PGAV’s growth into the core of the themed entertainment sector.

Since opening the Orlando studio, Diestelkamp has assembled a top team, secured major projects with international clients, and maintained PGAV’s standards of quality and innovation. His approach strikes a balance between growth and the firm’s core values, fostering creative excellence and promoting collaboration.

He has led prominent, fast-moving projects worldwide in the entertainment sector, with experience spanning from Abu Dhabi to Vietnam. He served as co-director for SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and has worked on projects for SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Herschend Family Entertainment, Universal Studios, and various cultural and hospitality clients. His approach consistently combines engaging storytelling with respect for cultural heritage.

Besides leading his project, Diestelkamp actively participates in the industry by serving on IAAPA committees, mentoring through TEA programs, and speaking publicly. His recent notable talks include a presentation at the 2025 Theme Park Development Symposium in China and an IAAPA Expo 2025 session titled Designing for Every Mind: Creativity, Inclusion, and the Guest Experience.
