American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey has announced a real-life Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location to open in 2027.
Inspired by the Five Nights at Freddy’s video game franchise, the immersive restaurant experience is being developed in collaboration with IP holder ScottGames.
The permanent attraction will be a functional reimagining of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, American Dream said in a statement.
Fans of the franchise will be able to eat at the venue, play arcade games, watch animatronic stage shows featuring Freddy and the Fazbear Band, and visit Foxy’s Pirate Cove.
Additionally, guests can step behind the curtain to take part in survival horror multiplayer game experiences.
"The only way this experience succeeds is if it’s created by a team that knows Five Nights at Freddy’s inside and out," Atreyu Alcantar, creative manager of licensing and LBE at American Dream, told Variety.
“The animatronic show has to be authentic. The food has to be high quality. And above all else, we’re not building a set that looks like Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza – we’re building Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza."

American Dream is already home to attractions including the DreamWorks Water Park, the Nickelodeon Universe theme park, a Sea Life aquarium, and Legoland Discovery Center.
More details about the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza venue, including the official opening date and ticketing information, will be announced soon.
