The Magic of Disney Animation, a new collection of animation-inspired experiences, has opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida.

Located in a new area of the park called The Walt Disney Studios, the new attraction features several experiences, including an animation class with Olaf and an immersive indoor playground.


It is housed in a building reminiscent of the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California, complete with Mickey's iconic sorcerer's hat.

For the first time at Disney World, all 65 Walt Disney Animation Studios animated features films are represented throughout the family-friendly space, where guests can explore and draw.

Experiences on offer in The Magic of Disney Animation are called 'Drawn to Wonderland', 'Off the Page', 'Olaf Draws', and 'Once Upon A Studio Theater'.

Drawn to Wonderland is an immersive indoor playground inspired by the original Alice in Wonderland concept art by Disney Legend Mary Blair.

It features areas themed to the Mad Hatter's house, the Queen of Hearts' rose garden, and the Cheshire Cat's mysterious Tulgey Wood.

Off the Page is an zone in The Magic of Disney Animation where key stages of the animation process are brought to life through encounters with characters such as Mulan and Rapunzel.

Olaf Draws is an animation class where guests can learn how to drawn one of nine Disney characters with a new Olaf audio-animatronic figure.

Finally, the Once Upon A Studio Theater explores more than a century of Disney Animation storytelling, with guests enjoying screenings of the Emmy Award-winning short film, Once Upon A Studio.
