Walt Disney Imagineering has started testing the new Spider-Man roller coaster under construction at Shanghai Disneyland.
The new coaster is part of the park's new Spider-Man land – the first Disney parks land dedicated entirely to Spider-Man.
With the ride track installation for the roller coaster completed and the first ride vehicles on the track, Imagineers have started the push-pull testing process.
"Before guests ever board, Imagineers perform push-pull testing at Shanghai Disneyland’s brand-new Spider-Man-themed land, slowly moving a ride vehicle through the attraction at just one centimeter per second," Walt Disney Imagineering wrote on Instagram alongside a new video.
"It may be one of the slowest parts of the project, but every centimeter brings us one step closer to the next milestone," it added.
"A high-speed adventure with Spider-Man starts with an ultra-slow test," Shanghai Disneyland wrote, alongside new images of the attraction.
The park's ninth themed land, and its third major expansion since opening in June 2016, will also include Spider-Bots and a Worldwide Engineering Brigade (W.E.B.), as revealed earlier this year at D23.
Over at Hong Kong Disneyland, a themed area called Stark Expo with a new Spider-Man attraction is being developed for an extended zone of the park's Tomorrowland.
This includes a new Avengers pavilion, which will offer "a tower experience unlike any story you've seen before", Disney revealed at D23 this summer.
Earlier this year, Shanghai Disney Resort announced the name of its upcoming third hotel, which is called the Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel.
