Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi has been awarded the Guinness World Records title for the most waterslides in a water park.
Owned and operated by Miral, the water park on Yas Island features a record-breaking collection of 55 waterslides, from the UAE's tallest waterslide to high-speed racing slides.
During a celebratory ceremony held at the attraction, Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, group CEO of Miral, and Rayan Al Haddar, general manager of Yas Waterworld, received the Guinness World Records certificate from Hanane Spiers, official Guinness World Records adjudicator for the MENA region and Türkiye.

"The addition of our newest attractions, including the UAE’s tallest waterslide, reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative and world-class experiences for our guests," said Al Haddar.
"With a record-breaking collection of 55 waterslides, Yas Waterworld continues to strengthen its position as a leading global water park, offering unforgettable experiences for families, friends, and thrill-seekers alike."
Yas Waterworld's record comes after the launch of its recent expansion, which introduced 11 new rides, slides and attractions to the park, and brought Yas Waterworld's total number of attractions to more than 70.
The park's new slides are by WhiteWater, a leading waterpark manufacturer. They include Sahel Matamir, a thrilling freefall tube racer, and Matamir Loop, a high-speed body slide.
Matamir Twist – Matamir Lights combines fast drops with immersive lighting effects, while Matamir Splash is a duelling mat racer.
The last expansion of Yas Waterworld opened in July 2025 with 20 new rides, slides and experiences.
