New attraction will help to enhance the visitor experience

Aqualand Industries, a leading creator of durable activity products for the worldwide leisure industry, has announced that Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park in Devon, UK, is adding a new adventure, the company’s Crazi-bugz attraction, to enhance the visitor experience.

The park will develop a new track for the adventure vehicles to explore. The six-wheeled Crazi-bugz will complement the park’s Segway and Zorbing offerings.

Peter Griggs, deputy general manager, at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park, says: “We are always looking for new ways to enhance our visitor experience. The Crazi-bugz are a fun way for kids of all ages to spend time outdoors and create lasting memories. The rugged vehicles can go anywhere, and we’ve designed a track that creates excitement for guests.”

Situated on a hilltop overlooking the popular bay, Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park is just 15 minutes from some of the best beaches in Britain. Guests can enjoy the heated outdoor pool with stunning views, the cinema, the spa, Segways, Zorbing, climbing, paddleboarding, and kayaking, as well as Castaways, the interactive indoor pirate play pool.

Driving additional revenue

Aqualand Industries designs and manufactures the six-wheeled Crazi-bugz, the Adventure Trukz, and the new all-family activity, the Adventurer. All its products are manufactured in the UK at the company’s dedicated R&D and manufacturing facility in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.

The firm collaborates with recreational facilities to help them generate more income. To enable operators the flexibility to launch the range of products, the company provides a lease, full purchase, or a combination of both. It also involves providing upkeep and customer care for its goods.

Carl Byford, general manager of Aqualand Industries, adds: “Woolacombe Bay is a fantastic holiday park in a stunning setting. We partnered with the team to ensure they have the vehicles and support they need to ensure guests enjoy the Crazi-bugz and create lasting memories.”

Since the 1970s, the team behind Aqualand Industries has been actively involved in the design and production of a wide range of high-specification, critical-service mechanical engineering solutions. It has recently broadened its scope to include creating cutting-edge goods for the leisure industry.
