EAG International Expo

Organisers of EAG International Expo 2020, the premier event for the entertainment, attractions & gaming industries, are expecting a high level of interest in AR, VR and esports technologies at next year’s event.

The Entertainment, Attractions and Gaming (EAG) International Expo, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, is on its way to becoming the entertainment industry’s leading and most comprehensive trade event. Organisers are predicting a surge in interest from buyers of AR, VR and esports technology at EAG International Expo 2020.

The event, run in partnership with UK trade association BACTA and supported by Swan Events, will take place at London’s ExCeL from the 14th-16th January 2020. This year’s event was the biggest yet, and attendees enjoyed a packed show floor and full seminar programme, as well as several new exhibitors. EAG International Expo 2020 is set to be even bigger.

The rise of virtual gaming

EAG expects a great deal of interest in the virtual gaming sectors, which will create exciting new opportunities at next year’s event. Show organisers have reported a surge of enquiries ahead of EAG International Expo 2020 about cutting-edge gaming technologies, such as VR, AR and esports.

EAG will become the showcase for a range of cutting-edge gaming technology products. Martin Burlin, Chairman of EAG Expo says “It has been very interesting to see a surge of interest and enquiries about AR, VR and esports gaming.

“Our EAG event is on course to become an important meeting place for developers and buyers of products in these new areas. We’re now starting to see developers pushing the boundaries of all these technologies – AR, VR and Mixed Reality games, where reality and virtual reality happen at the same time.

“It’s a thrill for us to provide opportunities for new developers to find new international markets. I encourage any established gaming companies or startups to get in touch about exhibiting.”

Potential exhibitors are encouraged to book their stand at EAG International Expo 2020 here.

After the success of the 2019 event, EAG has also promised more networking opportunities for the coin-op sector at next year’s show.
