Miami’s Jungle Island, South Florida’s eco-adventure park, has announced new attractions including SuperFlight and NEOSplash, a brand new water park, as well as plans for an escape room.
The launches are part of Jungle Island’s second phase of rollouts.
“Jungle Island continues to evolve as Miami’s only eco-adventure destination, with carefully designed amenities such as SuperFlight and NEOSplash turning the park into a focal point for families and friends to enjoy,” said John Dunlap, President of Iconic Attractions Group. “The progress we have made is palpable, and we continue to move forward with bold plans to create a premier destination that reflects the city’s diversity and growth.”
SuperFlight is Miami’s first permanent vertical wind tunnel. The experience lasts for 45 minutes. Guests go through formal training at the flight academy with world-class wind tunnel instructors before soaring through the Miami skyline with free fall simulation. Night-time rides are part of the thrilling experience.
NEOSplash is a pop-up waterpark. It features four mega slides, including some as high as 65 feet with a 300 foot-long splash. However the family-friendly waterpark caters for all ages of children. It’s a refreshing way to chill, next to Biscayne Bay.

Interactive adventures continue at the park with new escape rooms set to open this month. Three plots and themes link theatre have been designed by George Domati and Zoltan Jorensczy of Escape Logics. Both adults and children can enjoy experiences that draw on Jungle Island’s natural environment.
New food and beverage pop-up, Pink Flamingo Kitchen, offers a wide range of snacks and substantial meals. Barbecue bacon burgers, jalapeño poppers, baby back ribs, and pickled fries are all on the menu. Wynwood’s Concrete Beach Brewery craft beers are also on offer, alongside natural beverages.
