Comprehensive installation for the new play area was performed remotely

Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, has announced its first Egyptian installation, marking a key milestone for the firm.

The expansive Mall of Egypt facility, home to over 300 stores, restaurants and leisure facilities in West Cairo, has recently opened Monkey Maze.

As the city’s latest indoor play facility for children, the leisure and cafe venue is being powered by Semnox’s Parafait FEC Solution. Monkey Maze aims to provide a fresh, distinctive educational environment that encourages interactive learning and entertainment.

Monkey Maze is now benefiting from POS counters, digital signage, RFID lockers and reusable silicone wristbands, along with a software package that features a party booking module and a data analytics and reporting suite.

A leading operator since its establishment in 1972, Robert’s Group has substantial investments in the Middle East, Africa, and a number of countries in the Mediterranean. Robert’s Group aims to provide “custom complete entertainment solutions”, including concept design, implementation and strategic operations, in a manner that is profitable and sustainable for both its partners and customers.

“Excited about the pipeline”

Robert’s Group, one of the company’s partners, played a key role in the project. The implementation was completed remotely, meaning the entertainment centre was soon ready to open to guests.

The firm’s CEO Georges Elias says “The implementation of Semnox’s solution at Monkey Maze has been smooth in spite of a complete remote setup. The team at Semnox is responsive and available all the times for any crucial requirements, and this makes it easy for us to work with them. We are sure to have many more wins in the coming days and are excited about what we have in the pipeline.”

Semnox Solutions’ client partner for the Middle East and Africa, Darshith B Shetty, says “Our partnership with Robert’s Group for the Lebanon and African region has helped us in creating a good prospect line up for these markets. Monkey Maze is the beginning.

“We have been able to complete a 100% remote installation in this first project that we have undertaken at Egypt, and we are excited for what is yet to come!”

Semnox Solutions recently detailed how its Parafait system is assisting the Energyplex FEC in Kelowna, Canada, to recover from the pandemic.
