With more than thirty years of experience in museums, themed attractions, and branded destinations, Magri excels at creating experiences that connect with contemporary audiences. His dual background—a BA with Distinction in Audio-Visual Media combined with electronics training—enables him to effectively handle both the technical and creative aspects of projects.
Magri has played a key role in some of Sarner’s most notable projects. His journey started with The Last Labyrinth at Land’s End, arguably the first immersive visitor attraction in the UK and Europe. It integrated slides, film projection, and mechanical effects, utilising theatrical and cinematic methods to craft a completely automated immersive experience.
At Bodmin Jail in Cornwall, he transformed a historic prison into an automated Dark Walk that immerses visitors in its tumultuous history. In Malta’s Mercury Towers, he blended education with entertainment in a dark walk that culminates in a high-tech flying theatre, redefining heritage interpretation.
His work at Klimahaus in Germany mimics extreme weather conditions, from fog to hail, providing guests with a tactile, sensory experience that highlights the realities of climate change. Meanwhile, in Oslo, “N25 - A Flight to Remember” at the Fram Museum offers an immersive 4D portrayal of polar exploration, inaugurated by King Harald and praised for its emotional depth and advanced technology.
