Sanjay Das has over 30 years of media production experience, specialising in VFX and animation, with the last 20 years focused on experiential media. He is currently president of experiential at Arevera.

His work includes major films like Shrek 2, Madagascar, the Harry Potter series, and television productions such as The Mandalorian and Secret Invasion. Furthermore, he has led initiatives for global studio expansion and has developed a range of immersive experiences and attractions.

Throughout his career, he has played a crucial role in shaping the future of media-based attractions and immersive experiences worldwide, pushing the limits of what’s possible across flying theatres, dark rides, motion simulators, and XR-based attractions.

A former DreamWorks Animation producer behind hit films like Shrek 2, Madagascar, and Kung Fu Panda, Das shifted his cinematic expertise into themed entertainment, carrying with him the storytelling sensibilities and technical standards of Hollywood.

His creative leadership has contributed to the creation of memorable experiences, including Shrek 4D and TED: The Experience at Universal, cutting-edge LED flying theatres with Simtec Hexaflite Systems across China, immersive content for The Sphere, Jurassic World pop-ups in Las Vegas, and innovative new projects in the Middle East.

Hos influence extends well beyond the screen. He is involved in every phase of attraction development, collaborating closely with ride system vendors, AV teams, and design-build partners to ensure both creative consistency and technical quality.
