The company was founded in 2003. Out of a basement room of a family house, the first orders were processed in the field of „engineering and project management“ for amusement park attractions and special constructions. However, at that time it was not our plan to establish ART Engineering as a manufacturer of attractions in the market.
Yet, due to our good contacts, which we had already established in the amusement park sector since 1992, it was not long before we had our first installation in the „Wild- und Freizeitpark Klotten“, where we put our „Flower Carousel“ into operation in 2007. In 2011, our first Junior Coaster was opened in Lagoon / Utah, USA.
In parallel, engineering and the construction of special designs became increasingly important as a second mainstay. In 2008, for example, we were able to realize our impressive sculpture „Man & Woman“ and in 2012 we signed the largest order to date with Continental for a fully automated tire testing facility.
Word of our convincing quality and good price-performance ratio continued to spread. In the years 2014 – 2016, three facilities were built that brought our company further forward:
the interactive coaster „Wonder Mountains Guardian“ in Canadas Wonderland / Canada, with a vertical drop of over 9m,
the mega coaster „Cannibal“ in Lagoon Park Utah/ USA with a 60m high vertical lift and the new ride element „Lagoon Roll“,
the interactive dark ride „Beary Tales“ for Knotts Berry Farm / CA / USA.
This series of attractions and especially the latter „Dark Ride“ ended in the development and commissioning of the first „Ninjago Dark Ride“ for Legoland California / USA, of which (as of today) 8 identical rides have already been sold and successfully commissioned worldwide.
Since 2016, we have also placed several roller coasters from our „Kiddy Coaster“, „Family Coaster“ and „Family Launch Coaster“ portfolio on the market.
The special feature of this type of ride is that, depending on the design of the ride, it can be ridden by children as young as 90cm (TÜV approved).
The steadily growing demand naturally brought new challenges and growth. Our company has expanded from the basement room, to offices in 2005, to our own office building in 2018.
In 2010, we founded the company ART Product GmbH, which has since taken over the distribution and handling of projects. Even as the company has grown, we have maintained the personal and specific attention to each project to make each one a success.
Our development is not standing still, as you can see this year. In 2022, two parks have received our new „Wild Swing“. A swing without rollover, for the whole family.
