Luce Group: President's Lincoln Cottage

Luce Group is responsible for the interior and exhibit lighting of this national landmark, which includes a cued docent-led tour. The mandate was to provide enough illumination and power to meet current codes while remaining true to the reality of the mid 19th Century. As well as providing the overall illumination, Luce worked closely with the curators to design custom fixtures, which can be seen throughout the house. Luce Group is proud to have been part of this historic project, which won the Victorian Society in America’s prestigious annual Preservation Award in 2009.
