Life-size terracotta soldiers and several hundred artifacts made the trip from China to New York City for an exhibit at Discovery Times Square. Luce used existing architectural fixtures and rented theatrical lighting equipment. 2000 year old artifacts were lit at levels appropriate for their age and materiality. Similar care was taken with the 6' tall warriors, though dramatic accents like falling leaves, reflections, and shadows were used to tell individual stories.
