Luce Group: US Mint

Luce Group designed lighting for several different areas of the Visitor Center and Factory Tour at the United States Mint in Philadelphia : the cued introductory theatrical presentation, the dramatic tall lobby gallery, and the exhibit hallways surrounding the factory. The varying gallery proportions and exhibit requirements created lighting challenges. A range of fixtures, from fluorescent, to track to in-case fiber optic were used to illuminate the different spaces and objects. Through a mix of specified, retrofitted and repurposed fixtures, Luce added drama, color and focus to the dynamic new exhibits.  Exhibit design by Quatrefoil Associates.
