Dukes Beach House at the Honua Kai Resort on Kaanapali Beach Maui Hawaii
This project was a new construction of the Dukes beach restaurant and bar chain owned by T SRestaurants. This is an open air beach front restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating. It hasapproximately 15 large oversized Tahiti Thatch umbrellas for outside seating and Tahiti Thatch accentsover the indoor seating.The customer requested our 12.5 four post cabanas but wanted them on a single umbrella post. Thispresented a challenge as we would need to reinforce the frames so they were strong enough to handlethe weight and stresses that would be put on them by having only a single pole for support. With theextra support material added to the frames, they have performed flawlessly.The customer has been very happy with the umbrellas and their customer love the Polynesian feel andauthenticity the products from Safari Thatch have added to their vacation experience.
