SpongeBob SquarePants Coin Operated Ride

~~Children’s entertainment and TV giant Nickelodeon have teamed up with Northern Leisure’s Kiddy Rides to produce a range of rides based on the brands extensive portfolio. This is a new venture for Nickelodeon as it’s the first time the company has ever worked with any partners within the kiddie ride sector.

“We are really excited to be working with such a high profile partner as Nickelodeon”, says Gareth Jones, Northern Leisure Group’s Kiddy Rides Production Manager. ” We have acquired the rights to produce a range of rides from the Nickelodeon brand including SpongeBob, Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol and Dora!” The kiddie ride specialists will be working hard with Nick. to release the rides one by one over the next few years.

The first ride to be produced is SpongeBob SquarePants. As all Northern Leisure’s rides, it has been designed, developed and produced in the UK in a high quality gel coat. The ride features the iconic character SpongeBob along with his pet snail, Gary. The children can ride alongside the pair in their Krabby Patty Wagon. The Patty Wagons attributes include a steering wheel, pushbutton sound effects and a small LCD display incorporated into the dashboard area showing sing-a-long lyrics to the shows theme tune in time to the music.

The ride is now fully approved by Nickelodeon and production is imminent. “We already have a number of orders in, so we are urging people to place theirs as soon as they can to avoid long waiting times. The prototype model is out on site trial at the moment and is proving very popular”.
