Sunkid, a leading provider of attractions for the whole family, brought the world’s first Sunkid Sundancer Galaxy ride to Lotte World Adventure Busan in South Korea in July 2025

The ride, named Dancing Mauris, combines interactive riding fun with high capacity. It has been integrated into the park's family-oriented themed land, Joyful Meadow.

The new model builds on the proven Sundancer concept and now has four cabins, each with four seats. This allows for a total of 16 guests onboard at once, supporting a capacity of up to 480 people per hour.

The ride offers a distinctive experience by combining three movements: the attraction travels along a circular track, the cabins rotate on their own axes, and they swing outward at the same time.

A high-capacity, active engagement ride designed for operator needs

Along with the unique ride dynamics, interactivity is key: passengers can use a manual steering wheel in each cabin to control the rotation. This makes each ride different, allowing visitors to actively participate in the experience.

Beyond the ride experience, the ride prioritises cost efficiency for operators. With a capacity of up to 480 visitors per hour, the ride occupies only 11.5 meters in diameter. This compact design makes the Sundancer Galaxy ideal for new setups and upgrading existing themed zones.

Soon after the ride launched in South Korea, the Sundancer Galaxy earned the Brass Ring Award for Best New Product at IAAPA Expo 2025. This confirms the success of integrating high capacity, active passenger engagement, and modern operator needs into one attraction.

Last summer, the company also introduced two new attractions to the Universe Science Park in Nordborg, Denmark. It is now home to two of Sunkid's largest family rides: an 8-person Loopster and a Tower.
