Join us at blooloop’s Festival of Innovation on Thursday 8th December at 3 pm GMT, to hear about the WAZA Carbon Guide and trends in sustainability.

Helen Lockhart

Helen Lockhart is the Conservation & Sustainability Manager for the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town South Africa where she has worked since 1995. Her interest areas are behaviour change, marine social science, leadership development, and connecting people with nature through storytelling, photography, art and poetry.

She also holds a Masters of Philosophy degree in Sustainable Development. Lockhart enjoys photography, kayaking, snorkelling, creative writing, and walking in nature.

Helen served as Editor for the WAZA Carbon Guide. The guide was written by professionals in zoos and aquariums around the world and is a fantastic resource to help any organisation get started in measuring and reducing its carbon footprint.

The credibility of our messages and even the legitimacy of our existence is at stake if we don't reduce our own emissions.
