InfoComm is the most comprehensive event for audiovisual solutions. This year’s InfoComm takes place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, from 10 – 16 June 2023. The trade show element is open from 14 – 16 June.
Attendees will have opportunities to discover the latest technology and learn new skills to advance their careers. They will also be able to grow their professional network. The show covers integrated experiences, products for audio, conferencing and collaboration, digital signage, content, production and streaming, video capture and production, control, live events and attractions.
It is an AV trade show that combines what you might see at smaller trade shows into one huge show. There will be pavilions for audio, digital signage, events and entertainment, and conferencing and collaboration. In addition, there are over 100 hours of seminars, workshops, manufacturer training and more. There are also free sessions available on the Technology Innovation Stage.

Highlights from InfoComm 2023
The educational agenda includes an extensive three-day technical training program on AV essentials, continuing education sessions on a range of topics, and much more.
On 10 June, the technical skills and Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preparation classes will kick off the training programme. The ten tracks included in the curated educational programme from 14-16 June are audio, business and project management; conferencing and collaboration; content, production, and streaming; design and integration; digital signage; diversity and inclusion; enterprise IT; learning spaces; and live events.
On Tuesday 13 June, the Emerging Trends session will run from 8.30 am to 12 pm. In this annual review of the industry’s latest technology advancements, attendees can get learn how technologies such as VR, AR, NDI, Dante AV, wireless collaboration solutions and other emerging tech will revolutionise the way we connect and collaborate.
The session will be hosted by Pete ‘TEC MAN’ Coman, chief technology officer at PTS Consulting New York. Speakers include Linda Gedemer, AlphaTech; Oliver Van Camp, Barco; Christopher Jaynes; Paul Harris, Aurora Multimedia; Paul Richards, PTZ Optics and Will Waters, Audinate.
Immersive audio trends
Also on Tuesday 13 June from 8.30 to 9.30 am, is a primer on Immersive Audio Technologies. Featuring insights from Christopher Kusek and Scott Leonard of Professional Audio Designs, this will help attendees to learn the differences between different immersive audio technologies. It will also cover conceptual system design and architectural and acoustical system requirements. Plus, it will delve into the installation and commissioning processes unique to immersive audio systems.
Later the same day, from 1.30 to 2.30 pm, Christie’s Maxwell Kopsho will lead a session called Enterprise IT: Project Management for AV/IT Solutions. This will focus on the business and strategic needs of AV and IT customers and the combined needs in AV/IT.
Attendees will learn to balance the business focus and voice of the customer and the voice of the buyer within the constraints of the project. The session will also help them to understand the keys to establishing the stakeholder team. They will learn how to use the stakeholder to help identify the business reasons and drivers behind the AV/IT project. In addition, they will take away tools to help them manage their AV/IT projects while maintaining the business focus of their companies and their customers.

Esports, audio demos and more
During InfoComm Esports Live, visitors to the show will be able to watch as collegiate teams battle it out on the show floor. This event will demonstrate the latest industry reference design. It will also showcase four key technology stages, setting out the high-impact experience that collegiate esports teams are seeking, without the costs and dependence on professional production teams.
Elsewhere, there will also be Audio Demo Rooms. These purpose-built showrooms will enable attendees to listen to products away from the ambient noise of the tradeshow floor. This means that they have a space to enjoy product demonstrations and live performances from special guests. The rooms are open to all in the West Hall from Tuesday at 11 am to Friday at 5 pm.
AVIXA has announced that there will be a wide-ranging digital signage programme at InfoComm 2023. This will feature in-depth workshops and the D=SIGN conference and show floor tours. There will also as be a networking mixer at Vū Orlando.

AV Stumpfl – booth #3823
AV Stumpfl, Austrian award-winning creator of mobile and installation projection screens, multi-display and show control systems, will present the US debut of its new Flex Black PRO projection surface at InfoComm 2023. The black surface material offers excellent black levels and an impressive contrast ratio.
In addition, the team will also demonstrate the firm’s AnyShape technology. Barco – booth #2529
Barco, the technology company focusing on innovative visualisation solutions, will be demonstrating its latest products at the show. This will include a new LED solution, created to deliver great image performance and high-quality colour. It was launched at ISE 2023 in Barcelona and is powered by the firm’s Infinipix Gen2 processing. The NT series is ideal for LED video walls that require high-impact visuals.

Earlier this year, Barco celebrated a further collaboration with Culturespaces. The new project is a digital art attraction, Phoenix des Lumières in Dortmund, which utilises over 100 Barco laser projectors.
Christie – booth #1632
The team from Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, will be on hand to show how the company’s technologies form end-to-end visual solutions to inspire exceptional experiences. Tech on show will include RGB pure laser projection, LED video walls, powerful projection software tools, content management and processing.
At ISE 2023 in Barcelona, the firm presented the new Christie 4K22-HS laser projector, along with other innovations from across the company’s product line. This new model supports Christie’s HS Series, its line of highest-performing 1DLP laser projectors.
Recently, Christie provided a range of integrated solutions to the reopened Chico Albuquerque Museum of Image and Sound of Ceará. This included projectors, media servers, and Christie Mystique.
Digital Projection – booth #3029
At InfoComm 2023, Digital Projection, a specialist in laser projectors, will introduce two of its most advanced laser projectors to date.
The new TITAN 41000 4K UHD and M-Vision 27000 WUXGA projectors are packed with cutting-edge capabilities. This includes unprecedented brightness, vibrant colour rendering, a more compact footprint and improved, market-leading efficiency. Users will benefit from exceptionally bright, accurate, lifelike images for a wide range of commercial environments.
Digital Projection recently announced that Elmia, a convention centre in Jönköping, southern Sweden, is to adopt the Satellite MLS projection system.
L-Acoustics – booth #5751
L-Acoustics, an industry leader in designing, manufacturing and distributing sound systems and technology, will also be exhibiting at InfoComm 2023.
The firm will showcase several new products recently announced at its April Keynote at the Hollywood Bowl. This will include the L-Acoustics L Series line source array and the new LA7.16 amplified controller. Attendees can also discover the L-ISA 3.0, a comprehensive, best-in-class immersive audio software platform for the live sound and music creation markets.
Other products on display at this year’s event will include Soka, the smaller sibling of the powerful Syva. L-Acoustics will present audio demos in the Chapin Theater.

Listen Technologies – booth #2961
Listen Technologies is a provider of assistive listening, multi-language audio transmission and live-streaming audio solutions. It will debut a new assistive listening system at InfoComm 2023. The team will also showcase Listen Technologies’ full suite of assistive listening and communication solutions.
In addition, AVIXA, the producer of the InfoComm annual trade show, has selected the company’s ListenTALK mobile two-way communication system to support guided Show Floor and Interactive Experience Tours, for the second consecutive year.
Listen Technologies is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. A “Beer and Gear” event will be held at the Listen Technologies booth on Thursday 15 June from 3.00 – 5.00 pm. This will kick off a series of celebrations for the milestone birthday and the launch of the new assistive hearing system.
Moment Factory – booth #361
Attendees can discover an interactive experience from Moment Factory, the multimedia entertainment studio specialising in the conception and production of immersive environments, at booth #361.
Moment Factory will showcase a selection of distinct visual systems. These will demonstrate the innovative opportunities available in digital signage that provide a sense of awe to the audience. This activation will showcase immersive experiences created through Kinect, scanning, and tracking technologies.
On 14 June at 9.30, Jamie Reilly, general manager at Moment Factory will join Dorothy Di Stefano, founder and director at Molten Immersive Art, for Immersed in Experience: A Conversation with Moment Factory. Attendees will gain some insights into the firm’s innovative approaches. Panasonic Connect, a leading audiovisual technology provider, will be on hand to talk about how its audio-visual solutions can support the creation of immersive experiences and a connected ecosystem.
The team will be showcasing the latest audio-video solutions. These are designed to revolutionize the way people communicate and collaborate, with cutting-edge technology and seamless integration. In addition, Patrick Osterman, senior solutions architect at Panasonic, will lead a session on MT35- Small Scale ST-2110 Networks for AV. This takes place on 14 June at 9.30 am.
James Jensen, senior category manager, and Petro Shimonishi, director of professional AV solutions and connected ecosystems, will lead a session on MT36-Professional Audio & PTZ Camera Voice Tracking Products & Applications. This is scheduled for 14 June at 11 am.
Realmotion – booth #348
At the booth, attendees can learn about the latest Realmotion technology while enjoying a motion interactive experience produced by Montreal creative studio Float4, an award-winning multidisciplinary studio that integrates digital experiences in physical spaces.
Those arriving through Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C will have a chance to look at the Moment Vault multimedia installation. This is part of the airport’s new Experiential Media Environment (EME). It is powered by Realmotion’s real-time media servers and new proprietary AI-powered 3D marker-less motion capture system.
