New range of LED video wall tiles is lighter and easier to install, building on features of the original Core Series

Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, has launched the Core Series II LED video wall tiles. This new range is available in a variety of pixel pitches, including a 0.9 mm pixel pitch.

The Core Series II is ideal for many types of venues, such as lobbies, meetings and conference rooms, as it allows for the straightforward installation of almost seamless video walls, of any scale, meaning users can easily engage with or collaborate with their audience.

Lighter and easier to install

The new range builds on the features of the original Core Series LED video wall tiles, but each tile is now 23% lighter, weighing 14.3lbs (6.5kg). They are also slimmer, with a depth of 38mm. Furthermore, the ADA-compliant direct-mounting structure and hidden cabling mean that the video walls are simple to install and are totally front serviceable.

Core Series II is available in five pixel pitches: 0.9mm and 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.8 and 2.5mm with vivid and clear images that are 33% brighter than the original product, at 800 nits calibrated brightness.

The tiles can also be paired with Christie’s E600 HDR10-compatible controller with advanced image processing, in order to deliver content in 4K @60Hz and for low-brightness enhancements. In addition, Core Series II features redundant on-board power.

“With Core Series II, we’ve improved on an affordable choice for LED video walls that doesn’t sacrifice on features,” says John Dixon, director of product management, Christie.

“Choose from our range of pixel pitches – or select one of our new bundled solutions to make specifying a Core Series II video wall even easier. And with Christie’s service, support, and a three-year warranty, Core Series II is a reliable and trusted solution for video wall installations.”

Christie Core Series II begins shipping in September 2021.

Earlier this month, Christie also announced the launch of the new Inspire Series, a family of fixed-zoom lens 1DLP laser projectors with 3 brightness options.
