The latest in the series delivers 36,500 lumens

Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, has announced the launch of a new Griffyn Series projector – the Christie Griffyn 4K35-RGB pure laser 3DLP projector. The Griffyn 4K35-RGB is one of the smallest and lightest high-brightness RGB pure laser projectors available, delivering 36,500 lumens in an all-in-one compact design, weighing only 81 kilos.

The Griffyn 4K35-RGB pure laser projector is designed for demanding large-scale venues and applications such as live events, projection mapping, and theme parks, and can operate at as low as 44dBA in quiet mode.

Colours are rich and true to life when combined with RGB pure laser illumination, which creates more than 98 per cent of the Rec.2020 colour palette, and audiences are immersed in vibrant, dazzling sights without interruption.

“The new Griffyn 4K35-RGB pure laser projector features our latest advancements including TruLife+ electronics, which eliminates the hassle of removable options cards with ‘all-in’ connectivity,” says Christie director of product management Joel St-Denis. “And with electronic colour convergence (ECC), convergence can be adjusted via the remote for perfect colour alignment.”

Efficient installation

In addition, the Griffyn 4K35-RGB may work on single-phase 200-240 VAC at maximum brightness or 100-120 VAC at decreased brightness, extending the projector’s operational life.

Griffyn 4K35-RGB includes Christie Twist for warping and blending and is compatible with Christie Mystique, Christie’s automated camera-based alignment and recalibration solution for efficiently installing, aligning, calibrating, and maintaining multi-projection systems, saving hours of tedious work.

Optional Mirage and Mirage Pro upgrades provide 120Hz at 4K resolution or up to 480Hz at 2K resolution for applications that demand greater frame rates, such as themed attractions. The Christie Griffyn 4K35-RGB is now available to order.

Christie projectors were recently used to transform a forest into a captivating destination that invites visitors to discover the beauty of nature in Shanghai.
