News
Connect&GO Lightspeed Commerce

Connect&GO, a leading global provider of integrated technology and RFID solutions for the attractions industry, has revealed plans to collaborate with Lightspeed Commerce, a leader in unified payments and point-of-sale (POS) solutions.

This partnership is set to transform food and beverage (F&B) and retail operations for attractions around the world, leveraging technology with a track record in the demanding hospitality, retail, and golf sectors.

Tailored solutions

Connect&GO, renowned for its integrated attractions management platform, Konnect, intends to integrate with Lightspeed Restaurant in order to provide customizable, scalable, and robust solutions. With this prospective collaboration, Connect&GO will provide its clients with the freedom to customise their F&B and retail operations to their specific requirements. The integration aims to streamline processes and boost ROI for attractions around the world, resulting in a more enjoyable visitor experience.

Dominic Gagnon, CEO of Connect&GO, says: “Our proposed partnership with Lightspeed stems from a shared vision of innovation and excellence. We aim to integrate a technology that has successfully served sophisticated retailers and restaurants across the globe to the diverse world of attractions. This collaboration would reflect our commitment to providing innovative, flexible solutions that empower attractions to thrive in the ever-evolving industry landscape.”

Lightspeed is known for its cloud-based, user-friendly POS and payments platform, which provides real-time analytics and services for clients in more than 100 countries. The proposed collaboration would provide Connect&GO clients with a fast, flexible commerce platform that increases efficiency and revenue. Lightspeed’s scalable solutions cater to a variety of service models by providing advanced features such as table management, bar tabs, AI-assisted menu configurations, and Kitchen Display System (KDS) capabilities.

Peter Dougherty, general manager of Hospitality at Lightspeed, comments: “We are thrilled to jointly announce our intention to partner with Connect&GO to enhance the guest experience. Looking toward the future, we are excited to expand our offering in this market and work closely with Connect&GO to propel more innovations with the end consumer in mind.”

Konnect, Connect&GO’s integrated system, seamlessly combines eCommerce, point-of-sale, F&B, access control, and cashless transactions. In contrast to traditional systems, Konnect provides a real-time holistic view of guest data, allowing attractions to provide seamless experiences. Connect&GO clients can maximise revenue, simplify operations, and improve visitor engagement with the aid of Lightspeed’s powerful restaurant and retail solutions.

Connect&GO continues to drive innovation and recently celebrated the accomplishments of highly regarded customers such as Roaring Springs Waterpark, which was awarded the prestigious WWA 2023 Leading Edge Award for its innovative application of Connect&GO’s technology.

This potential collaboration represents an important step forward in Connect&GO’s mission to transform the attractions industry with innovative technology, including its recently revealed integrated reporting and BI solution.

Connect&GO recently announced the collaboration with leading cloud-based analytics platform Sigma to develop an innovative new integrated reporting tool which leverages the dynamic opportunities provided by real-time data, easy-to-use dashboards, and a completely unified platform to provide a next-generation operations management solution.
