Company announces new European office in London and appoints Adam Thompson as UK business director

Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, has confirmed the location of its new European office as part of its ongoing expansion plans.

The company’s operations for the United Kingdom will be based at Bloomsbury Square in London. The new site will be primed to benefit from convenient transport links and top grade network technology for remote meetings.

Alongside its current portfolio of European clients on the mainland, Convious is also working with a renowned theme park in the UK. Through its new physical base in the capital, the technology firm plans to offer its AI-powered platform and customer support to more visitor attractions based in the UK including theme parks, zoos and other experience destinations.

In other developments, Convious has also announced it is bolstering its team with a new hire. Adam Thompson joins the company as its new UK business director, bringing valuable experience collaborating with some of the UK’s leading visitor attractions. His role will ensure that Convious can provide its next-generation technology to UK clients, in the same way as its European clients currently benefit.

Commenting on the new office development, Thompson says:

“More than 100 attractions and theme parks across Europe already use our AI-driven cloud platform, benefiting from huge increases in their online conversion rates, sales revenue and visitor engagement.

“By opening our UK office, we will be able to turbo-charge our expansion plans across Europe, while making sure that our growing UK client base has access to the digital tools that every attraction or theme park needs in order to deliver the ultimate visitor experience.”

New innovations

With the major impact COVID-19 brought to the experience and attraction sectors, Convious has evaluated these obstacles to deliver new solutions for its clients. Latest advancements on Convious’ platform such as Crowd Control and Mobile Food Ordering are designed to enhance the guest experience whilst also keeping visitors safe in physical environments post-pandemic.

These new product features, alongside Convious’ latest office location, will help position the company to enhance attractions throughout the UK. Planned to open in November, the new UK office for Convious will be located at 4-4a Bloomsbury Square, London, WC1A 2RP.

Earlier this year, Convious’ Bernard Kochen explained how its platform had helped two Looping Group theme parks to adapt after the pandemic.
