Crowd Convert launch Andy Povey and Paul Marden

Crowd Convert, a next-generation digital engagement solutions specialist founded by attractions industry veteran Andy Povey and digital expert Paul Marden, has announced its launch.

The company will provide next-generation digital engagement tools and services designed to meet the specific requirements of the visitor attractions industry. Drawing on its founders’ passion and industry experience, Crowd Convert is committed to advancing how attractions connect with their visitors, both online and in person.

Guided by industry expertise

Crowd Convert leverages decades of expertise in ticketing, digital transformation and guest conversion to provide solutions that seamlessly integrate digital and physical visitor experiences.

By purposefully avoiding large-scale investment, Crowd Convert makes sure that all decisions are informed by industry expertise and the real needs of attractions and their visitors rather than being driven by investors.

Andy Povey, co-founder of Crowd Convert, says: “Attractions of all sizes face the challenge of fragmented digital experiences, where ticketing, marketing and operations often operate in silos. We created Crowd Convert to eliminate these pain points by offering intuitive, human-centric digital solutions that increase guest engagement and boost conversion rates.”

Povey is an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience. His previous roles ideally position him to lead the new company and include managing acquisition strategies for Merlin Entertainment Group, and leadership positions in eCommerce and ticketing businesses, spanning the development of business intelligence strategies, guest tracking and digital transformation.

Crowd Convert co-founder Paul Marden is the CEO of Rubber Cheese, and a digital platforms and technology solutions specialist. He complements Povey’s knowledge by ensuring that Crowd Convert’s products are innovative, easy to use, and effective for attractions of all sizes.

Marden says: “Crowd Convert was born from a shared realisation that the guest experience in the attractions industry is often fragmented, with operators juggling multiple systems for ticketing, retail and hospitality.

“We built Crowd Convert to streamline this process, creating a unified approach that prioritises guest satisfaction while simplifying operations for venues. Without investor agendas driving our decisions, we’re free to focus entirely on what the industry actually needs—technology that enhances, rather than replaces, human connection.”

Crowd Convert has a full launch schedule planned, including new sophisticated personalisation tools for customised visitor journeys, integrated ticketing systems that simplify online and on-site sales, and insightful analytics for better-informed business decisions. All Crowd Convert’s solutions cater to the attractions sector’s unique requirements to guarantee practical, effective support as venues grow.

By bringing together state-of-the-art technology and industry-leading expertise, Crowd Convert enables attractions to provide seamless, tailored visitor experiences while enhancing revenue and operational efficiency.
