From 9 to 13 June 2025, Nice, France, will host the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference, a significant global event aimed at uniting heads of state and government to forge a historic agreement for ocean protection.
In honour of the occasion, Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice, president of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, and deputy president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, will present a spectacular drone show from Dronisos, a leading drone light show specialist. This will be the largest ever seen in Europe.

Estrosi says: “Following the success of last summer’s drone show for the Grand Finale of the Tour de France, I wanted to give the people of Nice another unforgettable moment, this time ahead of the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference, which our city has the honor of hosting.”
“On Friday, June 6, combining cutting-edge technology and artistic creativity, 2,025 drones will rise into the sky above the Promenade des Anglais for a unique luminous ballet. A record never before achieved in Europe, made possible thanks to the technical expertise of our partner Dronisos!
“This prodigious show will be preceded by an exceptional concert featuring two major DJs that will dazzle and leave a lasting impression on the people of Nice, and set the tone for the meetings that will take place in the following days. Ambition, audacity and progress.

During the concert, the “French touch” will take centre stage, with two prominent French DJs: Agoria, who performed at the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and Cassius, a pillar of French electronic music. For two hours, they will alternate playing their most iconic tracks and present a unique back-to-back (B2B) set, where both DJs will perform together behind the decks.
Dronisos also partnered with Disneyland Paris for its new nighttime show, Disney Tales of Magic, which launched on 10 January. Disney Tales of Magic invites visitors to explore the worlds of iconic Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar films. These include Inside Out, Coco, Encanto, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Lilo & Stitch, Toy Story, and WALL-E.
