Global AV solutions provider, Electrosonic, has announced new roles for Matt Sweeney and Jackson Benedict.
Sweeney (right) rejoins the sales department as Account Manager for the Northeast. Benedict returns to Electrosonic as a Systems Sales Consultant.
They will be based in New York, reporting to Executive Sales Manager, Bryan Abelowitz. With a growing number of projects in the region, the company was keen to secure local representation.
According to Electrosonic, the two men will both be working closely together with new and existing clients. They are also being tasked with coordinating with the rest of the Electrosonic team.
Bryan Hinckley, Vice President of Sales, North America, said Sweeney had ‘a fantastic mix’ of sales and project management experience.
Sweeney joined the company in 2009. Among a number of roles he was Project Manager for Universal’s Fast & Furious: Supercharged and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
“He recently relocated to Connecticut, but we weren’t going to let him get away that easily,” said Hinckley.
“Matt has the right combination of experience to help provide customer account management as he works with sales and business development teams to promote Electrosonic’s full portfolio of design, system integration and service offerings.”

Benedict (right) first joined Electrosonic in 2006 where he coordinated and managed the on-site installation of the large Newseum project in Washington, D.C. among other projects.
Since leaving, he was Production Manager for the America I Am travelling exhibit and an interactive fountain show in Atlantic City among others.
“Now he’s back in a new and challenging role,” observes Hinckley. “We know customers will benefit from his extensive project management experience and system implementation skills.”
