Endurescreens, a specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of world-class projection screens, will be launching AETHRA at IAAPA Expo Europe 2023. Ahead of the trade show, the team says that the new product will change the way the industry thinks about screens.
One of the most talked-about subjects in the AV industry these days is contrast. Manufacturers of projectors and screen materials have been driving very positive improvements with screens that have high contrast values. Reflective surface optimisation for contrast enhancement has been made possible by effective performance gains in light generation and colour space expansion.
For many years to come, projection technology will undoubtedly be a necessary feature of multimedia installations, especially in the large-format market and for applications utilising unique screen forms and surfaces.
With two years of development, Endurescreens has leveraged its vast knowledge in this industry to create a new surface solution for its acoustically transparent projection surfaces, which are able to reproduce projected images with amazing resolution, colour quality, and contrast.
Why AETHRA ?
Talking about why AETHRA has the power to revolutionise the sector, the company says:
“Simply put, it goes against what we traditionally think about screens, but the results will blow your mind.
“When planning a project, you have so many criteria to consider when choosing the correct projection screen for your project. What will give the guest the best experience and keep them coming back? In most cases the more immersive your attraction the better the experience.
“The screen plays a vital role in getting that immersive experience, and this is where there are always so many discussions about the projector lumen output vs. screen gain vs. pixel pitch and where can the best image be achieved considering brightness and contrast.
“This is where AETHRA goes against the grain.”
Endurescreen will showcase AETHRA at booth A-114 at the Expo, which is taking place 25-28 September in Vienna, Austria. The show floor is open 26-28 September. Delegates are able to book appointments with the Endurescreens representatives online.
Earlier this year, Endurescreens brought a new flying theatre experience to Kathmandu Park | Punta Cana, as part of Falcon’s Resort, a partnership between Melia Hotel Group and Falcon’s Beyond Global. Together with various collaborating partners, they developed Voyage of the Fathom Wanderer, a flying theatre attraction.
