The platinum sponsor will showcase a popular experience utilising their guest-focused technology

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced it will be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo during its 28th year.

The technology company is a platinum sponsor of the popular industry event and will be showcasing an immersive ‘Guest Journey’ experience, allowing visitors to discover their operations from a guest perspective. This will include key touchpoints during an attraction experience including venue ticket purchase, upselling, visiting retail or a cafe and leaving the attraction, alongside ticket upgrades such as memberships or season passes.

Booth attendees will be able to witness these activities on a ‘guest account’, providing a full transactional view of the guest experience and allowing Gateway Ticketing Systems to personalise the experience.

Guest Journey has been designed by the Gateway team for prospective clients who are searching for a new ticketing system or want to keep on top of the functionality that is available on the market.

Award nomination

Gateway Ticketing Systems has also been nominated for a Brass Ring Award in the category of Best Digital Marketing Campaign for its webinar series, Webinar Wednesdays. The award-winning programme was incorporated specifically to help visitor attractions deliver an improved guest experience during COVID-19 closures and reopenings.

The series reached over 800 industry professionals weekly at its peak and connected the industry with success stories and best practice inspiration.

Insights from the team

Also at the IAAPA Expo, the technology company will present a 20-minute talk at the show’s new EDUTalk Stage (Booth 1388) on Tuesday 16 November.

The session, titled Made-to-Measure Excitement, will provide key pointers for venues to maximise profit and revenue delivered by each guest, particularly in a post-pandemic world. The full guest experience technology solution will be explored in line with these strategic objectives.

Randy Josselyn, Gateway’s Principle for Wildlife and Conservation will also be instructing at the IAAPA Institute for Attractions Managers on 14-16 November 2021 in Room S310AB.

Gateway Ticketing Systems will be based at Booth 4847 at the Orange County Convention Centre from 15 – 18 November 2021. Visitors are encouraged to pre-register for the Guest Journey experience at the IAAPA Attractions Expo by clicking here.

Gateway also recently announced that it has onboarded Phoenix Zoo with Galaxy Connect, allowing the attraction to streamline its ability to sell tickets on third-party distributor websites.
