Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced that it has onboarded and certified three new Galaxy Connect distributors since April 2021. Gateway’s cloud-based platform, Galaxy Connect, connects attraction suppliers with third-party distributors.

“Galaxy Connect allows our customers to sell their tickets via our Galaxy Ticketing and Guest Experience solution through third-party distributor websites,” says Wanda Kalbach, Distribution Partner Manager with Connect.

“Attractions can sell live tickets that pull from real-time inventory through any number of travel partners and online travel agencies with just one integration. No more paper vouchers. And they benefit from the marketing these travel partners do themselves.”

Three industry experts

Discount Tickets and Tours

In April, Galaxy Connect welcomed Discount Tickets and Tours, a family business based in Anaheim, California. The company has been working with Disneyland since the 1980s, when co-founder Patrick Cleaver would buy tickets at the gates in the morning and resell them to his hotel guests. Now, it provides an “e-Concierge” e-commerce website, where visitors can buy discounted tickets, tours and activities across South California.

This site is powered by aRes Travel and allows visitors to easily compare and purchase the best-discounted tickets available. aRes Travel has been with Galaxy Connect since 2018 and this is its first B2B connection

Fun Express

The following month, Fun Express came on board. This no-cost platform offers a range of discounted activities for employees of US corporations, at up to 55% off. This allows employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance with savings on amusement parks, water parks, movies, dinner theatres and more.

Then in June, Galaxy Connect also welcomed Holiday Extras. This connection came about through a connection with a Gateway customer, and the company plans to connect with other Gateway customers in the future.

Holiday Extras

This company has 37 years of experience in the industry, bringing a personal service to provide visitors with great value deals on airport hotels, lounges, parking, transfers, car hire and holiday insurance. The service helps to remove the hassle from holidays, and is available in person, online or via the Holiday Extras app, powered by HEHA!, the super-intelligent Holiday Extras Holiday Assistant, and is trusted by more than 8 million travellers each year.

Expanding sales distriubution

“We are pleased to welcome Discount Tickets & Tours, Fun Express, and Holiday Extras to the Galaxy Connect ecosystem,” says Michael Andre, President and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems.

“We congratulate these three distributors on their successful certification with Galaxy Connect.  Gateway customers who subscribe to Galaxy Connect can easily expand their sales distribution by enlisting with any of our certified distributors and now have even more to engage with.”

There are now 64 certified distributors and another 22 working towards getting certified with Galaxy Connect.

Gateway Ticketing Systems will be holding its Galaxy User Group Meeting (UGM) in person this year. The event will take place in Las Vegas, from 3 – 7 October 2021.
