Gateway Ticketing Systems named in list of best places to work for eighth time

Gateway best place to work PA 2020

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has been named as one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania.

Gateway Ticketing Systems has announced that it has been recognised in Team Pennsylvania’s list of the top 100 Best Places to Work in PA for 2020. This is the eighth time the company has been named on this list, this year reaching its highest place yet at number 16 in the Medium Employer category, up from 21 in 2019.

The list is created to showcase the best places to work in the state, which also benefit the local economy and workforce.

Best place to work

The process begins early each year, with surveys distributed to employees and employers across hundreds of businesses across Pennsylvania. The winners are those who score highest in a twofold evaluation, combining the results of the survey with an analysis of each company’s workforce policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. Each company is given an overall score, in a formula similar to Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America”.

“Ranking this highly as a place of employment in Pennsylvania is humbling, particularly because the ranking organizations are determined largely through employee feedback,” says Michael Andre, President and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems. “2020 posed some different challenges, but we continued to strive to build a company culture focused on employee well-being and job satisfaction.”

The winners were celebrated during a virtual celebration on 3 December 2020, which was joined by more than 1000 professionals.

At the end of 2020, Gateway also announced the launch of its new Made-to-Measure Excitement thought leadership initiative. This is an operational approach and technology solution that will help attractions to provide an individual experience for each guest in the wake of the pandemic, keeping visitors engaged, providing an improved experience and therefore encouraging them to spend more.
