Holovis, a leading experience designer, will be launching its new propriety software platform, HoloTrac, at IAAPA Expo 2019 in Orlando.

Holovis is proud to be presenting its new software platform at IAAPA Expo 2019, which is being held from 18 – 22 November at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. HoloTrac is designed to extend and enhance guest experiences, as well as transforming operations, security and safety, all through one platform.

The new software platform is powered by cutting-edge computer vision and tracking technologies. It identifies guests through an attribute recognition engine in order to offer personalised adventures, where they can interact with the space and experience a nonlinear narrative.

Introducing HoloTrac

HoloTrac is built on the existing Holovis Machine Learning platform. The innovative software can pick up on guests’ actions and behaviours, including when they interact with objects, which reduces the need for wearables and devices in objects. This means everyday items can become part of the story and helps to create a frictionless experience through invisible technologies.

This new technology also has benefits when it comes to critical park operations and safety. It produces data analytic visualisations and insights into the dynamics and operations of parks, thanks to real-time intelligent tracking. Operators can use this overview to improve the guest experience, for example by dealing with queues and congestion efficiently.

Combined with the Machine Learning analysis and simulations, Holotrac can predict how crowds would react in the event of an incident. This will help in knowing how to best deploy emergency responses.

A frictionless, non-stop adventure

Peter Cliff, creative director at Holovis, says: “We have taken the development work from by our data scientists and software teams as applied to our enterprise and simulation divisions, and used this to create a next-generation themed entertainment platform that is now pushing the boundaries in this sector.

“HoloTrac presents a ground-breaking re-think on how guests interact with physical spaces and the benefits that can be unlocked by deepening that instinctual connection. Theme parks, museums and FECs can move away from being a collection of isolated experiences and become a frictionless, non-stop adventure giving guests a unique way of engaging prior, during visitation and beyond.

“Vastly improving the guest experience and engagement through HoloTrac enhanced experiences and attractions leads to repeat visitation and ultimately increased revenue.

“Also connecting our core HoloTrac capabilities to site-wide security and operations is truly revolutionary, enabling operators to see real-time insights into how their venue is performing and instantly respond to any challenges that occur.”

Guests’ data is secure and anonymous as HoloTrac does not store any personal information that can be traced back to one person. It only works in closed-eco systems, where guests buy into it. Visitors at IAAPA Expo 2019 can find out more by visiting the Holovis team at booth #1378.

Holovis is currently expanding its global footprint and recently announced new offices and facilities in the UK, US and Ukraine.
