Model sets a new Android-based benchmark in portable audio devices

Imagineear, an audioguide and multimedia content specialist offering a full range of advisory and interpretation services, has unveiled its new product, the XP4 Audio Player.

Imagineear launches XP4 Audio Player visitor guide

The XP4 is the newest member of the renowned X-plorer audioguide device family. With an affordable price point and superior sound quality, this technology enables attractions to share their stories and engage a wider audience than ever before.

It sets a new Android-based benchmark in portable audio devices by delivering major upgrades blended with a familiar design and user experience.

A spokesperson from the firm says: “We’re excited to launch our latest audio guide device, the XP4. The most recent addition to our hardware family features new and advanced software on the inside, whilst maintaining familiar and much loved casing on the outside. Robust, reliable and perfect for on-site use, the XP4 will offer our clients and prospects even more choice to bring their stories to life.”

Intuitive UX & long battery life

The XP4 Audio Player uses advanced technology to deliver exceptional audio quality. Its multimedia platform provides comprehensive control over the visitor experience, and its audio guide is thinner, lighter, and better-sounding than any of its predecessors. The XP4 offers the quality and support that Imagineear clients expect, together with added versatility, accessibility, and innovative features.

This model brings together the classic design of the X-plorer series with an easy-to-use, high-resolution touchscreen that supports videos, images, and interactive content. This boosts the user experience and is easy to maintain.

The XP4 audio player surpasses previous accessibility standards. It provides video playback and sign language tours for deaf, deafened, and hard-of-hearing users, while the universal headphone jack supports induction loops, providing an inclusive experience for all guests. Furthermore, the device has a keypad with a tactile dot on the number 5, making it easier for blind and visually impaired users to navigate. The device is comprehensive and easy to use – visitors simply enter a number and start listening.

A key feature of the XP4 is its exceptional battery life. The device can support up to 12 hours of continuous multimedia usage on a single charge, allowing multiple guests to use it on-site.

Imagineear creates unforgettable visitor experiences using immersive audio, interactive multimedia, and VR/AR technology. The firm produces and publishes multilingual content across several platforms, including web apps, native apps, and Android devices, for a client list that includes sports venues, cultural destinations, and tourist attractions.
