InfoComm Asia, the region’s leading audio-visual trade show, will return to Bangkok, Thailand, from 17 to 19 July. It is accompanied by the InfoComm Asia 2024 Summit, which is widely recognised as the “must attend” conference for audiovisual experts and end users of technology.
The summit includes 52 sessions spread over 15 tracks and delivers extensive insights into Pro AV technology, entertainment, sustainability, and storytelling applications. The summit is available to all registered attendees who wish to learn about the current trends, challenges, and opportunities defining the Asian Pro AV scene.
Keynote speaker David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, executive director and CEO of AVIXA, says: “Our most recent research shows that APAC is the centre of growth for the Pro AV market at 6.6% CAGR from 2022 to 2027. AI, esports & live experiences
The Summit’s programme will include sessions such as:
- Hollywood Sound Design Secrets Unveiled with Stephen Thomas Cavit, an Emmy Award-winning composer known for his work on Ghostbusters and Jumanji. This will explore the creative and technical elements of immersive audio experiences.
- Cyber War Games and the Unseen Risks in Office with Shaun Reardon, a cybersecurity expert and former Scotland Yard detective. Reardon will speak about fortifying AV over IP systems and smart offices against cyber threats.
- All About AI – Future of Workplace Collaboration & Engagement, a panel discussion on the future of AI in the workplace.
Furthermore, the Summit will offer entertainment industry sessions, such as the keynote address Designing Iconic Experiences with Ray Winkler, CEO and design director of STUFISH Entertainment Architects and the creative energy behind the ABBA Arena and many other spectacular live shows. Additionally, Timothy Shen, chair of Safari Asia Ltd. will deliver the keynote for the esports track, Esports Landscape in Asia.
In partnership with the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), international board member and vice president of location-based experiences at WildBrain CPLG, Evi Sari, will chair a panel discussion on the Art and Science of Storytelling for Guests.
The full schedule of InfoComm Asia 2024 Summit sessions is now available, and explores key topics ranging from hospitality to retail digital signage, from smart workplaces to control rooms.
InfoComm Asia 2024 is set to be over 40% bigger than the previous edition. It will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC) from 17 to 19 July where it will span 16,905 square metres (three halls). Registration is now open.
Earlier this month, InfoComm Asia, announced that the fourth edition of the international Pro AV exhibition will feature around 180 exhibiting companies, with 280 brands from more than 15 countries.
