Listen Technologies Kim Franklin

New appointment announced ahead of company’s attendance at industry show

Listen Technologies, a provider of assistive listening, multi-language audio transmission and live streaming audio solutions, has announced the appointment of Kim Franklin as its new vice president of global marketing.

Franklin will be responsible for brand strategy, communications, corporate marketing, digital marketing, and PR, in addition to her global marketing obligations. She will also join Listen Technologies’ Executive Team.

Franklin explains her leadership methodology: “I have always believed that success is driven by intention – good leaders choose to put others’ interests first. Inclusion is more than a buzzword or a company initiative; it is the catalyst for both personal and company growth, everybody deserves to be heard.”

Key team player

Franklin has been a part of the company for eight years, playing a key role in the development and execution of Listen Technologies’ marketing strategy and global campaigns for nearly a decade. Under her supervision, Listen Technologies has focussed on its purpose that “everyone deserves an exceptional listening experience” by growing and amplifying its position as a leader within assistive listening and communication products.

Maile Keone, company president and CEO says: “We are thrilled to promote Kim to vice president of global marketing and have her join the Listen Technologies Executive Team as we embark on this next stage of growth for our organisation.

“Kim will bring greater depth and breadth of experience and new perspectives to the team. With her insight, we will ensure Listen Technologies is in a solid position to continue to maximize business value for our customers and deliver on our promise to bring exceptional listening experiences to end-users.”

“A supportive champion”

Franklin’s approach has already raised awareness of communication challenges that hinder inclusion and engagement in a range of settings such as work, education and hospitality, providing Listen Technologies with valuable information in assisting organisations to overcome these barriers.

Chief experience officer Jonathan Stanley adds: “Kim helps team members connect the dots, providing intrinsic motivators, including mastery, autonomy, and purpose. She is a supportive champion for others within the organization, and across our channel partners, customers, and the Pro AV industry. Kim’s advocacy for inclusion is intrinsic in her leadership and mentorship.”

Listen Technologies will be exhibiting at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) event in Spain, showcasing the latest additions and updates to its Listen EVERYWHERE and ListenTALK lines in Barcelona this week.
