Magic Memories Announces Changes to Senior Management Team to Support Growth Strategy

News

Magic Memories, a global leader in delivering innovative guest-centric content to the attractions industry, has announced that current CEO John Wikstrom is to become Founder/President whilst Chris Warhurst will be appointed Global Chief Executive Officer.

The reorganisation of the senior management team supports the image capture company’s growth strategy.

Commenting on the announcement, Chairman Mark Bowman says, “Since we opened for business in 1995 we’ve become a truly global company.  Magic Memories is a partner that major attractions around the world want to have, as part of their team, to capture, create and share guest experiences in compelling and engaging ways.

“Chris is extremely knowledgeable about the overall attractions industry.  He understands the specifics of our business and what is required to deliver our future growth.  He’s done business with us for over seven years and respects the Magic culture and success to date.”

Magic Memories Founder John Wikstrom says that the reorganisation will be beneficial to the company’s strategy for growth: “As CEO, Chris will focus on scaling the business and directing our global expansion.  His mandate will be to embed the company vision into all aspects of operations including technology, culture, innovation and guest experience.

“This will leave me to continue as Magic’s main brand champion.  I will be actively involved in developing, and servicing, key markets with the objective of creating new growth paths and ‘walking the talk’ of continued innovation.  We’re a business built on making guest experiences uniquely satisfying.  Our aim is to become the undisputed global leader in delivering the means to keep people smiling.”
