NXT Capture announces new multi-year contract with Palace Entertainment

News
Steel Curtain

NXT Capture, an imaging solutions provider for amusement parks and attractions, is celebrating the signing of an exclusive contract with Palace Entertainment to provide imaging capture solutions for its US-based locations.

With this expansion, the company is set to triple its photo market footprint in the US. NXT Capture was chosen due to its proven commitment to innovation, system reliability and strong customer support, and will deploy the latest generation platform of its Picture Pass technology.

Picture Pass has more capabilities than ever

NXT Capture’s newest iteration of Picture Pass was awarded first place in last year’s IAAPA Brass Ring awards, for best new product.

The most recent version of the Picture Pass platform combines its numerous technologies, including facial recognition, app monitoring, and push notifications, to let visitors effortlessly redeem photographs throughout their visit to the park without having to interact with a staff member. The entire process, including purchasing the pass online, signing up, and redeeming it, is guest-driven and doesn’t involve team members unless specifically requested.

When a user turns on the feature, the platform can determine where they are in the park and offer photo spots nearby, including their proprietary Selfie Experience product, ride photo and video chances, character photos, and photo booths.

Brian Ramdat, president of NXT Capture, says: “We’ve partnered with Palace Entertainment for many years and this further expansion into their US parks is a testament to our commitment to providing best-in-class products and services to our clients.

“Our latest generation of the Picture Pass platform has been an update we’ve been working on for a long time and we are humbled by the positive reactions we’ve received from both clients and colleagues when they see its capabilities.

“This is a huge accomplishment for the team and I’m very excited to see us roll this out across the US and the new technologies we’ll continue to bring to market in the next few months.”

Recently, NXT Capture completed a fourth season at Santa’s Wonderland in College Station, Texas, US, helping visitors to capture the memories of their visit to this annual festive attraction and light show.
