Simworx, the dynamic media attractions specialist, has unveiled its recent collaboration with C360 View Ltd to launch a pioneering stadium viewing concept.
The C360 concept, developed by former England manager and professional football player Glenn Hoddle, marks a significant advancement in spectator experiences by allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the action from every viewpoint.
VIP experience
Despite amazing technological advancements in sports stadium design and construction, the viewing experience in a stadium has remained largely unchanged since the age of ancient Greek amphitheatres. This is because spectators are seated in the same spot for the duration of the event.
The C360 concept reimagines stadium experiences by allowing each C360 pod to circle the entire stadium. The immersive 360-degree perspective provides spectators with unprecedented views of the action.
C360 enhances venues and also positions them as locations for elite international sporting events and concerts. This revolutionises the VIP market and solidifies the reputation of stadiums which adopt C360 as an excellent option for corporate hospitality.
Fans will begin their journey at the stadium’s VIP suites. From here, advanced computer systems and laser sensors guide the viewing pods around the stadium, providing 360-degree views that ordinary seats cannot achieve. This integration means that all executive suites, regardless of location, have the same great viewing experience, resulting in larger and more fairly distributed earnings than traditional stadium arrangements.
Each viewing pod features luxurious seats, integrated touchscreen tablets, and digital advertising opportunities both inside and out. The digital interfaces will improve the consumer experience by providing services including in-seat food and beverage ordering, gamification, fantasy football, and replays. These interfaces also offer advertising potential and so can deliver extra revenue streams for the venue.
The system can be seamlessly integrated with new stadium designs and retrofitted into existing arenas. Prefabricated components reduce installation time, allowing for most retrofit installations to be completed during the off-season.
A spokesperson from the firm says: “As leaders in the design and manufacture of media-based attractions, this new venture marks Simworx’s leap into the sports entertainment sector. Simworx along with C360 International is excited to spearhead the future of live sports and entertainment viewing, leveraging its expertise to deliver unparalleled experiences for audiences worldwide.”
Simworx recently presented its new Zombie Metro Mayhem Ride concept for the Metro Mover attraction at IAAPA Expo Europe 2023 in Vienna.
