Triotech Franck Baril

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has confirmed the new appointment of a key company director.

The firm’s vice president of sales and marketing, Yannick Gemme, has confirmed that Franck Baril will be promoted to director for special venues.

Baril’s new position will focus on edutainment initiatives for European museums, zoos, aquariums, and tourist attractions. His appointment commences immediately.

“Triotech has already many references in this segment, and we are looking forward to having Franck focusing on these custom projects,” says Gemme. “With his experience in business development and his arts background, he will be instrumental to strengthen our position in Europe.”

Expanding the market

Baril has a proven track record in business development, having joined Triotech’s European Division CL Corporation in 2019.

He adds: “I’m very pleased to accept this nomination. Triotech has developed a sterling reputation for the high quality of its customized attractions and the ability to create exciting ‘edutainment’ experiences for museums, aquariums, and tourist attractions. I look forward to expanding this market.”

Triotech recently celebrated winning first place in the Immersive Attraction category of the blooloop Innovation Awards, with its Hive Break double walkthrough experience, a 3-in-1 multisensory and interactive adventure.

The firm is present in over 65 countries, working on over 415 attractions worldwide over more than two decades. Triotech says that approximately 25 million people experience a Triotech attraction each year, with more than 135 million people experiencing a Triotech attraction over the last decade.

On 17 and 18 January, Franck will be representing Triotech at Museum Connections Expo in Paris at Booth H35. Additionally, he will discuss the Stand-Up Theater system installed at La Cité de la Voile Eric Tabarly in Lorient, France, during an Innovation Duos session.

Triotech was recently selected to provide its award-winning products for Elev8Fun, a new FEC launching this year in Florida, US.
